BlockChain.info – Here is an online wallet that can be backed up and used via many devices, including iPhone, android, etc. Blockchain.info is a well known host of the Bitcoin ledger, called the block chain.
Coinbase – A reputable place you can exchange USD to Bitcoin.
Cryptsy
– One of the largest ALT coin exchanges. You can exchange Bitcoin to the alternate coins and visa-versa.
